The HYDROS is a technically advanced wing system built for demanding divers who expect both performance and reliability. Classic in appearance but loaded with cutting-edge design features, it combines rugged durability with exceptional functionality—perfect for everything from advanced recreational to serious technical diving.
Made in Europe using premium materials sourced from Germany and the USA, the HYDROS is engineered without compromise. Every element—from the outer CORDURA® 1100 dTEX shell to the ultrasonic and HF welded seams—is built to withstand the harshest diving conditions.
Two Wing Sizes – Tailored to Your Dive
The HYDROS wing is available in two lift capacities, ensuring the right fit for your dive setup and body type:
HYDROS 40:
Offers 18 kg (40 lbs) of lift, making it ideal for advanced recreational dives, extended range dives, and smaller technical divers. Perfect for setups like twin 7s or 12s with a stage.
HYDROS 50:
Delivers 22 kg (50 lbs) of lift, designed for larger divers and more demanding dive profiles. Easily supports twin high-capacity steel tanks and multiple stage cylinders without compromise.
Exceptional Surface and Underwater Performance
The HYDROS wing is designed to remain mostly submerged while at the surface, allowing more of its buoyancy to lift you higher out of rough water—enhancing surface comfort even under heavy load. Despite its classical design, it avoids the common “face-forward” push seen in other wings, offering a balanced and comfortable position both at the surface and underwater.
Underwater, enjoy effortless flat trim and excellent stability, whether you're on a decompression stop or navigating through complex environments.
Customisable to Fit Your Dive
The HYDROS system can be configured exactly to your needs. Choose the lift capacity and inflator hose length that suits your setup. While it works seamlessly with any standard harness and backplate, you also have the option to order it as a complete system—pre-assembled, fine-tuned, and ready to dive right out of the box.

If you change your mind, it doesn’t fit, or you become inflicted with buyer’s regret - that's OK!
Mike's Dive Store offer an extended returns policy of 60 days - so you can be rest assured if the suit, piece of diving equipment or gift doesn't suit then just send it back, and we will either exchange it or offer a full refund less any postage costs. Too easy!
Please note that there are some special order items on our website that will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, but we will let you know about these items before we 'special order' them so that you are aware of this. This means we’ll have a range of sizes ready for you to try on, ensuring you find the perfect fit before leaving the store.

We offer the option for customers to choose ‘Pickup in store’ as a shipment method, allowing your order to be picked up from our Chiswick store at a time and date that works for you (within our business hours). The process is really easy, but we'll run through it here:
Step 1 - Add products to your cart:
Browse our vast selection of diving and snorkelling equipment, adding the kit you want to your cart.
Step 2 - Head to your cart:
Click on the cart icon to see a summary of the items you are about to purchase.
Step 3 – Review Your Order and Proceed to Checkout:
Once you're satisfied with the items in your cart, you can add a note to your order under the "Order Summary" section if desired. When you're ready to proceed, simply click "Checkout" to complete your order.
Step 4 - Customer Information:
If you have a Mike's Dive Store account, simply log in to autofill your details. If not, enter your email address, select ‘Pickup in Store,’ and then click ‘Continue to Payment’ to proceed.
Step 5 – Payment & Billing Details:
Select your preferred payment method and enter your payment information. Below, provide your billing details. If you're logged into your account, please double-check that your billing and contact information are up to date.
Step 6 – Review Order:
After entering your payment details, click ‘Review Order’ to proceed with placing your order. You will receive an email confirmation with your unique order number. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection, usually within 4 hours or sooner during our opening hours (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM). Please note that our hours may vary during the Christmas and New Year periods.
