Power is an important attribute for fins, but agility is often overlooked. Agility refers to the ability to quickly and accurately adjust one's position and control movement and pace in any direction.  For many years, the classic rubber fin design has been known for its agility. However, with advancements in materials technology and design, a new type of fin has emerged that is even more powerful and agile. This new fin is set to become the new champion in the world of fins.

XDeep EX1 Fins

When choosing your XDeep EX1 Fins diving fins, you can opt for a hard, medium, or softer compound according to your preferences and the type of diving you do. A stiffer fin offers more control, while a more flexible blade provides more power. Ultimately, the choice is yours to make based on what suits you best.

The XDeep design team has put in a lot of effort to create foot pockets that fit perfectly and offer a great 'feel' when diving. They have achieved this by profiling the most commonly used drysuits and rock boots. The foot pocket design of XDeep EX1 Fins allows divers to use even the smallest foot movements to position the fin tip and blade exactly where they need it. By incorporating modern materials technology, XDeep in XDeep EX1 Fins has been able to move away from the old style 100% rubber mouldings to softer materials in the entry part of the foot pocket. This has improved feel and control, while also making it more comfortable for divers during long swims or against tough currents.

Modern material technology is now available that remains unaffected by temperature changes. Rubber fins are known to soften when exposed to warm water or sunlight, while getting stiff in cold temperatures. This can make your diving experience inconsistent. However, by using an advanced techno-polymer instead of rubber, the EX1 fins can provide you with a consistent and familiar feel throughout your dive, regardless of temperature changes.
