OrcaTorch D710 vs DC710
The main difference between the and OrcaTorch D710 and DC710 is the charging method: the DC710 has a built-in, direct USB-C charging port, while the D710 requires you to unscrew the battery to charge it externally or plug it into a separate charger. Both lights have the same lumen output, runtime, and 6-degree beam angle, with the DC710 being slightly longer to accommodate the port.

Feature D710 DC710
Charging Method Requires removing the battery and charging it with a separate charger Built-in USB-C port that charges the battery without removing it
Charging Port External only Internal, revealed by twisting a ring on the torch
Size Compact, 152g (excluding battery) Slightly longer due to the charging port design, 181g (excluding battery)
Performance Identical performance, including 3000 lumens, runtime, depth rating and 6° beam angle Identical performance, including 3000 lumens, runtime, depth rating and 6° beam angle
O-rings 3 O-rings 5 O-rings to protect the charging port

Choose the D710 if you prefer a slightly lighter, more compact size and don't mind the extra step of removing the battery for charging. The D710 has fewer O-rings, which some users may see as a potential maintenance advantage.
