The Halcyon Phaser is a compact primary dive light that pairs a focused, high-intensity beam with rugged construction built for demanding dives. It delivers 50,000 lux at 1 metre and 6,000 lux at 3 metres, giving you clear communication and excellent illumination even in the most demanding underwater environments, and the high and low power settings let you match the output to the dive. A rotating ring switch with distinct clicks makes selecting high, low and off simple, a rear-facing colour-coded indicator shows your remaining charge, and USB-C makes recharging easy. The rechargeable 29 Wh battery also works as a power bank, so you can reverse-charge compatible USB-C devices and dive accessories when a conventional power source isn't available.

Lux vs Lumens:

Lumens tell you how much light a torch produces in total, while lux tells you how much of that light actually lands on what you're looking at from a set distance. That makes lux a more useful guide to how a dive light performs underwater, whether you're lighting up a reef or signalling your buddy. Light spreads out as it travels, so the same torch always reads a higher lux figure up close than it does further away. That's why Halcyon quotes the Phaser's output at set distances: 50,000 lux at 1 m and 6,000 lux at 3 m.
