One garment, complete coverage, zero cold spots. The Fourth Element Arctic X Women's One Piece is a purpose-built drysuit undersuit cut specifically for the female form — and if you've ever dived in a unisex one piece that gaps at the waist or pulls across the shoulders, you'll immediately appreciate the difference. This is cold-water diving kit designed by divers who actually thought about how women's bodies move underwater.

The DWR water-repellent outer shell sheds moisture between dives while the soft fleece lining locks in warmth throughout. Articulated sleeves and knees combined with 4-way stretch fabric give you the freedom of movement that matters most when you're working in horizontal trim — no tugging, no restriction, just a suit that moves with you. The full-length two-way zip makes getting in and out straightforward even when you're already half-frozen on a dive boat, and the suit is pee-valve ready for those longer dives when you'd rather not think about the alternative.

Thumb loops and single-layer foot stirrups keep everything neat and in place while you're pulling on your drysuit, and the low-bulk ankle design means no bunching around your boots. Pockets handle the small essentials, and subtle reflective prints add low-light visibility when conditions call for it. Made from recycled materials certified to Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Oeko-Tex 100 and Bluesign standards, supplied in plastic-free packaging, and machine washable. Available in regular and short leg lengths — because fit really does matter.

FAQ

One piece or separate jacket and leggings — which is better?
It comes down to how you dive and what you want from your undersuit system. A one piece gives you seamless, gap-free coverage from neck to ankle — ideal for colder water or longer dives where any weak point in your thermal layering will eventually make itself known. Separates offer more flexibility if you run warmer in some areas than others, or if you want to adjust your layering between dives. Both approaches work well — if you're unsure, our video consultation team can help you work out which suits your diving best.

Is the Arctic X Women's One Piece suitable as a standalone undersuit?
Yes. It's designed to work as a complete drysuit undersuit on its own in moderately cold to cold water. For very cold or technical dives, some divers add a thermal base layer underneath for extra insulation.

What does pee-valve ready mean — does it come with one fitted?
Pee-valve ready means the suit is designed and constructed to accept a pee valve (p-valve), but one is not included or fitted as standard. Fitting is typically carried out by a drysuit technician. It's worth sorting before a trip if you're planning longer dives or diving in very cold water — you'll thank yourself later.

Will it fit under my drysuit without adding too much bulk?
Yes — the low-bulk construction and single-layer foot stirrups are specifically designed to keep the profile slim, particularly around the ankles where extra volume tends to cause problems with drysuit boots. The 4-way stretch fabric also helps everything sit smoothly without bunching.

How do I care for the Arctic X One Piece?
Machine washable — follow the care label instructions. Avoid fabric softener as it can break down the DWR water-repellent coating over time. If water repellency reduces after extended use, a DWR re-treatment spray will restore performance.
