The Mares X-One Pirate kids snorkelling set combines the Pirate snorkel mask, X-one fins and Fuji ergonomic snorkel for a complete set that offers great performance in the water, even for little divers and snorkellers!
The Pirate Mask has a soft, comfortable silicone facepiece, which makes it ideal for prolonged wearing. Easy-to-adjust buckles on the facepiece allow the mask to be worn with ease, even by children. The special lens allows for a wide viewing angle in the water.
The X-One fins boast a comfortable buckle-free strap adjustment, proving perfect for long snorkelling sessions. The foot pocket is perforated and allows water to flow through, preventing the parachute effect. The blade is equipped with channel trust technology for channelling energy and precisely directing movements, for perfect results with minimal effort.
The X-One Pirate set is completed by a Fuji ergonomic silicone snorkel with a semi-dry top and anti-splash technology. It also features a drain valve for cleaning the snorkel.

How to use the X-One Pirate set:
Mask Instructions:
- Lay the mask over your face, stretching the headband over the back of your head.
- Pull on the ends of the headband so that the mask fits snugly over your face. If you pulled too much, release the headband using the buckles, then readjust accordingly.
- To remove the mask safely, loosen the headpiece using the buckles and return it to the front of your face.
- When entering the water from the boat, keep the mask close to the face and hold it with one hand. The dive should not be headfirst or face down first.
- Blow through your nose if you feel the mask pressed against your face by water pressure.
- If the lenses fog up, treat the inner surface with an anti-fogging solution, then rinse with water.
Fin Instructions:
- Fins make it easier to move through the water, both on the surface and underwater.
- You should only wear fins when in the water, or immediately before diving from the boat. Do not wear fins to walk out of the water. If in the water, only walk backwards to avoid tripping.
- For a snug and comfortable fit, wet your feet and fins before wearing them.
- Slip the fin on and then place the strap behind the heel, adjusting tension. If you pulled too much, release the strap and readjust.
Snorkel Instructions:
- The snorkel allows you to breathe when swimming near-surface, without having to lift your head out of the water.
- Attach the snorkel holder clip to the head of the mask so that the snorkel stays to your left.
- Place the snorkel in your mouth, breathing normally in a gentle fashion.
- If you feel the water inside the snorkel, squeeze your mouth slightly and blow vigorously to empty it.
Keep Your Mask Crystal Clear – No More Fog!
New masks often fog up straight out of the box – and there’s a reason for that! During production, a thin film of silicone builds up on the inside of the lenses, and regular cleaners just don’t cut it.
That’s where Sea Buff comes in. This specialised mask scrub contains fine, non-damaging crystals that gently remove the silicone residue and help prevent fogging. Just apply a small amount to the inside of each lens and use your fingertip to polish in circular motions. You’ll feel the texture doing the work. Take your time – about 10 minutes – for the best results.
Once you’ve properly prepped your mask, follow up with an anti-fog treatment like McNett Sea Drops before each snorkel or dive to keep your vision crystal clear every time you hit the water.

Mike's Dive Store offer an extended returns policy of 60 days - so you can be rest assured if the suit, piece of diving equipment or gift doesn't suit then just send it back, and we will either exchange it or offer a full refund less any postage costs. Too easy!

We offer the option for customers to choose ‘Pickup in store’ as a shipment method, allowing your order to be picked up from our Chiswick store at a time and date that works for you (within our business hours). The process is really easy, but we'll run through it here:
Step 1 - Add products to your cart:

Step 2 - Head to your cart:
Click on the cart icon to see a summary of the items you are about to purchase.
Step 3 – Review Your Order and Proceed to Checkout:
Once you're satisfied with the items in your cart, you can add a note to your order under the "Order Summary" section if desired. When you're ready to proceed, simply click "Checkout" to complete your order.
Step 4 - Customer Information:
If you have a Mike's Dive Store account, simply log in to autofill your details. If not, enter your email address, select ‘Pickup in Store,’ and then click ‘Continue to Payment’ to proceed.
Step 5 – Payment & Billing Details:
Select your preferred payment method and enter your payment information. Below, provide your billing details. If you're logged into your account, please double-check that your billing and contact information are up to date.
Step 6 – Review Order:
After entering your payment details, click ‘Review Order’ to proceed with placing your order. You will receive an email confirmation with your unique order number. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection, usually within 4 hours or sooner during our opening hours (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM). Please note that our hours may vary during the Christmas and New Year periods.
