Not only does Scubapro consistently deliver when it comes to the quality of their wetsuits, but they seem to be able to tirelessly dream up innovations to develop their range of neoprene. Scubapro's X-Foam Neoprene formula was ground breaking when they released it back in the early 2000's and came with the best eco credentials of any neoprene at the time but all neoprene still had some processing and origin issues when it came to sustainability in those days. So they have now they have set their sights on a new YULEX range of neoprene that is completely environmentally guilt free! Right through from the thread to the recycled paper bag it arrives in. YULEX has been around for a number of years but manufacturers have always struggled with the elasticity of the material. This is not usually an issue if the suit is just used for surface watersports but when it comes to diving and the consistent pressure changes and lengthened time under pressure, obviously not ideal. So Scubapro have been working with YULEX in creating the first YULEX Diving Wetsuit that has a pressure bounce back elasticity enabling it to keep the thermal properties eve after hundreds of dives!
