Scubapro S-Tek Range

S-Tek is the new Scubapro range of technical diving equipment.  It has been designed so you can add items to your collection as you gain experience and learn different technical diving applications. Start with a wing, harness and backplate configuration, adding accessories and tools over time to improve both your comfort and skillset. Whether it be in a cave, deep wreck or under frigid ice, the S-Tek range will be your reliable and safe companion.

Wing and Backplate Combos

The S-Tek Pro System comes in either 30lb (with single tank adapter), 40lb or 60lb donut wing options. Tough construction and premium materials make this the ultimate system for serious technical divers who like to put their equipment through its paces. The wing is constructed of a 1000D Cordura outer shell and 500D Cordura inner. It is combined with a 3D formed, padded stainless steel back plate and adjustable harness that has been designed for a snug fit without inherent bulk. The harness comes (among other items) with crotch strap, pre-bent D-rings and Monprene® pads to cushion shoulders, waist and back. The Pro System has mounting points for accessories such as trim weights and argon cylinder.

The S-Tek Pure System is for divers who subscribe to the DIR approach. Its ultra-streamlined and minimalistic design gives you the same donut wing size options as the Pro System but with a continuous webbed harness for a customised fit. Branded silicone epaulet on the left shoulder and branded silicone guide bands keep the inflator hose and straps in place. The donut wing is constructed of a 1000D Cordura outer shell and 500D Cordura inner. It is available in either 30lb (with single tank adapter), 40lb or 60lb options and offers rounded profiles to allow for smooth, controlled air migration. This system also comes packaged with a 3D formed, padded stainless steel back plate with mounting points for accessories such as trim weights and argon cylinder.

Items listed above in the combo packages can be purchased separately:

  • S-Tek Pro Harness W/Back Plate (either electro polished stainless steel or lightweight anodised aluminium)
  • S-Tek Pure Harness W/Back Plate (either electro polished stainless steel or lightweight anodised aluminium)
  • S-Tek Donut Wing (either 30lb, 40lb or 60lb bladder)
  • S-Tek Single Tank Adapter

Backplate and Harness Accessories

Following the popularity of the colour options available on their Hydros Pro BCDs, Scubapro have created Back Pad Colour Kits to go on their S-Tek Pro or S-Tek Pure harnesses. Made from molded Monprene® they are available in black, white, yellow, blue, turquoise, army green, orange and of course pink. Purchased with all mounting hardware.

S-Tek Shoulder and Waist Pad Colour Kits will add a burst of colour to your harness webbing, ensuring you can easily identify your gear on the boat or inland dive site. Two of each molded Monprene® shoulder and waist pads are available in black, white, yellow, blue, turquoise, army green, orange and pink.

Other accessories available to compliment your technical system include:

  • S-Tek Pro Fluid Form Weight System
  • S-Tek Trim Weights Kit
  • S-Tek Expedition Thigh Pocket
  • S-Tek Pre-bent D-Rings or Straight D-Rings (both 50mm)
  • S-Tek Tri-Glide or Quad-Glide (both 50mm)

Reels and Spools

Evoking the distinctive design of Scubapro’s classic G250 second stage, the S-Tek Expedition Reel is available with either 100 or 200 metres of line. The durable frame is constructed from marine-grade anodised aluminium while the drum is injection-molded fiberglass reinforced Nylon. Other features include an anti-snag stainless steel lock-down screw and ergonomic anti-snag winder.  Ideal for serious cave divers, the clever line capacity gauge lets you know how much line has played out.

The S-Tek Spinner Spools also mirror the design of the classic G250 second stage. Made from durable injection-molded fiberglass reinforced Nylon these spools are built to last and are incredibly user-friendly. Scubapro spinner discs at the centre remain static while the spool spins and remains in your grip. Squeeze the spinner discs together to create tension of the line. Spinner Spools are available with either 15, 30 or 40 metres of line.

Colour-coordinate your S-Tek Spinner Spool to match your other gear with a Spinner Spool Colour Kit. One size fits all spool lengths and are available in white, yellow, blue, turquoise, army green, orange and pink.

Stage Kits

The S-Tek Cold Water Stage Kit is designed to mount 5.6 litre or 11.1 litre stage and deco cylinders for divers who are wearing gloves. This package includes big eye stainless steel bolt snaps, oversized tubular webbing and easy to handle branded silicone hose retention bands with an ergonomically raised lip. To avoid any cuts and abrasions the stainless-steel hose clamp is covered in protective tubular webbing.

The S-Tek Low Profile Stage Kit is a more streamlined solution for mounting 5.6 litre or 11.1 litre stage and deco cylinders. Standard size stainless steel bolt snaps, heavy-duty 25mm Military-grade polyester webbing and branded silicone hose retention bands with raised lip make up this kit. To avoid any cuts and abrasions the stainless-steel hose clamp is covered in protective tubular webbing.

Cave Markers

Used to mark points in a cave dive at a traverse or intersection, non-directional markers are placed on a guideline. They can also be used to indicate the presence of certain divers or to identify who has exited if a group gets separated. The S-Tek Non-Directional-Marker (Cookie Monster) pack has 10 cookie markers threaded on a bungee cord with a stainless steel bolt snap.  We recommend having proper cave training before using equipment like this.

Line arrows provide directional reference in a cave. They are either set permanently at distance intervals or used to point out secondary passages and exits. The S-Tek Directional-Marker (Arrow Monster) pack has 10 arrow-shaped directional markers threaded on a bungee cord with a stainless steel bolt snap. We recommend having proper cave training before using equipment like this.
