The Suunto D4i Novo Dive Computer is easily the most popular watch-style dive computer that we have ever sold

Lightweight, robust, and comfortable to wear for both diving and everyday use, an easy-to-read screen with dot matrix segment and optional wireless air integration. The D4i Novo has everything a recreational diver needs.

The D4i Novo utilises the full decompression Suunto RGBM algorithm allowing continuous decompression for optimal ascent times. Both air and nitrox modes display your current and maximum depth, current time, dive time, decompression time, and water temperature in an easy-to-read format. The audible and visual depth and time alarms warn you when it's time to start your ascent. In Nitrox mode, you can maximise your dive time by adjusting the oxygen content of your gas between 21% and 50% and your PO2 limit between 0.5 and 1.6 bar.

The optional wireless air integration transmitter not only displays your current cylinder pressure right on your screen but also allows the computer to calculate you remaining air time based on your breathing rate and depth.

Like to do a bit of freediving as well? With its innovative freedive functions and dedicated Freedive mode, the D4i Novo is also perfect if you're serious about breath-hold diving. Programmed to sample depth three times a second, it records highly accurate data on the true depth reached.

As part of Suunto's strive for sustainability, the Suunto dive computer range is one of the first to be made from 100% renewable energy! Up from 85% of products in 2021, now 100% of the products made in the Suunto factory and HQ in Finland are now using 100% renewable, carbon-free energy. Minimising emissions while manufacturing high-quality products.

Solid computer
Suunto D4i Novo Dive Computer Black / with Transmitter
I've wanted this computer for years, and after both my previous computers gave out on me, I finally treated myself before my holiday. Absolutely love it! So easy to use, and very clear screen. Surface time is easy to see between dives, and history is easy to navigate. Only thing is that the strap is pretty small, especially if diving with a thick wetsuit, so I'll probably be buying a strap extension.

I've been using a Suunto...
Suunto D4i Novo Dive Computer Black / without Transmitter
I've been using a Suunto Mosquito for a decade so decided it was time to upgrade. I decided to stick with what I knew so opted for a D4i. When it arrived, I discovered that my old Suunto digital logbook software (DM3) doesn't recognise my D4i. No problem, I'll just download and installing DM5, export the dives from DM3 as an SDE file and import them into DM5 as directed online. Unfortunately, DM5 doesn't import from the SDE. It will import individual dive csv files, but the dive entry that the imported csv creates in DM5 is missing most of the actual dive data. With over 300 dives logged in DM3, this is exceedingly frustrating. I called Suunto's UK support line, only to be told tech support is only conducted via email and that they would contact me (not a satisfactory response IMO, but it is what it is). Almost a week later I haven't received any communications from Suunto and now their support line isn't manned so I can't chase it up and there doesn't appear to be a support email address on their website. I'll persist in my efforts, but given the appalling absence of technical support this will be the last time I purchase a Suunto product.
