If you change your mind, it doesn’t fit, or you become inflicted with buyer’s regret - that's OK!
Mike's Dive Store offer an extended returns policy of 60 days - so you can be rest assured if the suit, piece of diving equipment or gift doesn't suit then just send it back, and we will either exchange it or offer a full refund less any postage costs. Too easy!
Please note that there are some special order items on our website that will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, but we will let you know about these items before we 'special order' them so that you are aware of this. The SCUBAPRO S-Tek Stainless Steel Backplate is the foundation of a serious technical diving setup. Stainless steel construction gives you inherent negative buoyancy, reducing the amount of ballast weight you need to carry — a meaningful advantage when you're already managing stage bottles, reels, and redundant systems.
The plate itself is 3D formed with a curved central profile and fully radiused edges, so it sits against your back rather than digging into it — something you'll appreciate on long dives or extended bottom times. Practical details are well thought out: there are mounting points for trim weights to dial in your horizontal trim, a dedicated argon tank mounting point for drysuit divers, and a built-in carry handle for moving the assembled rig around the boat or dive site without awkward juggling.
