At the heart of the package is the Aqualung Leg3nd Elite Black Edition DIN Regulator Set. The first stage features an Auto-Balanced (Over-Balanced) diaphragm design that progressively increases working pressure with depth, automatically counteracting increased breathing air density to maintain optimum breathing effort however deep you go. The Auto Closure Device (ACD) seals the first stage inlet whenever the regulator is disconnected from a cylinder, protecting internal components from contamination and corrosive water, preserving internal lubrication, and maintaining oxygen compatibility. Exceptional cold-water performance is built in through three combined anti-freeze systems: a permanent dry chamber that isolates internal parts from moisture, deep heat-exchanging ribs that dramatically increase surface area to prevent ice formation, and an over-moulded cap that delays icing of the external diaphragm. Ergonomically shaped DIN screws with bi-material Soft Grip surfaces make tank changes easy even with cold hands, a channelled Yoke screw prevents water retention, and perfectly positioned HP and MP ports ensure optimal hose routing throughout.

The second stage continues the Elite Black Edition's commitment to performance and precision. A redesigned front cover with new opening channels allows water to flow sideways over the diaphragm, resisting free-flows in strong currents and reducing cracking effort — while an enlarged heat exchanger actively works to prevent second stage freezing. The bi-material air channel deflector directs air evenly through the second stage and lowers exhalation effort throughout the dive. The new over-moulded exhaust cover features a soft-touch elastomer finish, and the over-moulded purge button is wide and easy to operate even at depth. The patented Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue and holds the second stage more securely in position, and a tool-less mouthpiece clamp allows quick, simple, waste-free mouthpiece changes. A flexible, lightweight Aqua Flex hose with dual protectors completes a second stage built to the highest standard.

Completing the breathing system is the Aqualung Leg3nd Elite Black Edition Octopus — paired to match the primary second stage in both performance and aesthetics. A dependable, easy-to-operate backup air source for you and your buddy, built to exactly the same high standard as the primary second stage.
