Neoprene Drysuits
Looking forward to colder water diving and not sure what to wear for the occasion? Well, we have you covered with the best selection on neoprene drysuits on the market from the best drysuit manufacturers like Fourth Element, Mares XR, Scubapro, Typhoon and Waterproof.
What is a Neoprene drysuit? Neoprene drysuit is made out of synthetic waterproof rubber containing millions of tiny air cells making the fabric thermally insulating. Neoprene drysuits, unlike trilaminate drysuits, are more stretchy and have some insulating properties on their own, and depending on the diving conditions, you will require thinner undergarments than for a trilaminate drysuit. The downside of a standard neoprene is that when subjected to pressure, it changes its volume, which then affects divers buoyancy. Many neoprene drysuits companies nowadays gave up standard neoprene in favour of compressed or crushed neoprene. These types of neoprene are less receptive to pressure changes, thus have more favourable buoyancy characteristics.
Mike's Dive Store is proud to offer only the best neoprene drysuits on the market from top drysuit manufacturing companies like Fourth Element, Mares XR, Scubapro, Typhoon and Waterproof.
