Cressi Da Vinci Computer
The Cressi DaVinci dive computer is a full-colour recreational dive computer built for divers who want a big, bright screen without the price tag or complexity of a technical machine. Running Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes on the trusted Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm, it manages up to four gas mixes in a single dive, recharges over USB-C, and logs everything straight to Cressi's DiveSync app over Bluetooth. If you're after a straightforward, no-fuss Nitrox dive computer that's easy to read at depth and just as easy to charge before the next trip, the DaVinci is worth a proper look.
Features:
- 3 dive modes — Air, Nitrox and Gauge
- ZHL-16C Bühlmann decompression algorithm
- Manage 4 gas mixes in one dive (Air, Nitrox 22–99%, or 100% O2)
- Full-colour TFT LCD screen with high-contrast display and large, bright numbers
- Numeric battery display — shows exact battery percentage, not just a bars icon
- Built-in 3-mode digital compass with heading and reverse heading
- Rechargeable battery with USB-C charging adapter
- Bluetooth connectivity to the DiveSync app for dive log transfer
- Adjustable PPO2 setting (1.0–1.6)
- Audible alarms for ascent rate, decompression and PPO2 violations
- User-selectable deep stop and safety stop
- Fly detection and altitude adjustment
- Heavy-duty case with automatic activation
- Ships with screen protector pre-installed, bungee strap, hex keys and charging adapter
Who Is This Dive Computer For?
Ideal for:
- Newly qualified and beginner scuba divers
- Recreational divers who want a full-colour display without a premium price
- Divers who use Nitrox regularly and want fast gas switching mid-dive
- Anyone who'd rather charge a computer over USB-C than carry spare batteries
Not ideal for:
- Technical divers needing trimix or CCR support
- Divers who specifically want wireless air integration — the DaVinci doesn't support a transmitter
Diving Modes & Gas Management
The DaVinci runs three core modes — Air, Nitrox and Gauge — calculated on the ZHL-16C Bühlmann algorithm. Where it earns its keep is gas management: you can set up to four gases before a dive (GAS 1 through GAS 4), covering everything from plain air to Nitrox blends between 22% and 99% O2, or a 100% oxygen deco gas. Switching between them mid-dive is a couple of button presses, and PPO2 is adjustable between 1.0 and 1.6 so you can dial it in to your training and comfort level.
Audible alarms cover ascent rate, decompression obligations and PPO2 violations, and both deep stops and safety stops are user-selectable — useful if your training agency has a specific protocol you dive to. Altitude diving is handled automatically too, with fly detection built in so you're not left guessing about flight timing after a dive trip.
Display & Usability
The full-colour, high-contrast TFT LCD screen is the headline feature — large, bright numbers for depth, no-deco time and dive time, laid out so you can read them at a glance without hunting around a cluttered display. A built-in 3-mode digital compass with heading and reverse-heading readout means you're not carrying a separate compass for most recreational dives, and intelligent brightness helps preserve battery without dimming the screen when you actually need it. Battery level shows as an exact numeric percentage too, rather than a vague bars icon, so you always know exactly where you stand before a dive.
Above the surface, the DaVinci works as a everyday dive log and planning tool — 12/24-hour time and calendar, a logbook with stats (max depth, dive time, average depth and more), and dive planning with no-deco and oxygen time limits.
Battery & Connectivity
Unlike a lot of computers at this price point that rely on disposable coin cells, the DaVinci uses a rechargeable battery with USB-C charging — a proper heavy-duty case protects the housing, and charging is as simple as plugging in the supplied adapter. Bluetooth connectivity pairs the computer with Cressi's DiveSync app, where your dive logs, stats and device settings sync automatically — no cables, no manual data entry.
A multi-language firmware update (covering Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Simplified Chinese) is planned via over-the-air update, useful if you're buying for a non-English-speaking diver in your group.

FAQs
Is the Cressi DaVinci suitable for beginner divers?
Yes. The three modes (Air, Nitrox, Gauge), simple button layout and colour display make it one of the more approachable computers for newly qualified divers, while the 4-gas Nitrox management still leaves room to grow into.
Does the DaVinci support Nitrox?
Yes. You can set Nitrox blends between 22% and 99% O2, and manage up to four different gases across a single dive, including a 100% oxygen deco gas.
Does it support air integration?
No, the DaVinci does not support a wireless transmitter. If air integration is a priority, take a look at our wider range of air integrated dive computers.
Is the DaVinci suitable for technical diving?
No. It's built as a recreational dive computer — there's no trimix or closed-circuit rebreather mode. For technical diving, browse our range of dedicated technical dive computers.
How is the battery charged?
Via the supplied USB-C charging adapter — no tools, no disposable batteries to source before a trip.
Does it connect to a smartphone app?
Yes. Bluetooth connects the DaVinci to Cressi's DiveSync app, where you can view dive logs, stats and manage device settings.
Does it have a freediving mode?
No, the DaVinci is built around Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes for scuba diving rather than freediving. If freediving is your main interest, get in touch and we'll point you towards a computer designed for it.
What's included in the box?
The computer itself with screen protector pre-installed, a bungee strap, hex keys, and the USB-C charging adapter.
