Ladies Drysuits

Are you planning some temperate or cold water diving? You need to invest in a good quality women drysuit.

There are two types of women drysuit, and it is up to you which one suits the best for the kind of scuba diving you enjoy.

Trilaminate women's drysuits - as the name may suggest this drysuit is made out of three layers of non-compressable material. Outer harder-duty layer for protection against tear and wear; middle layer made out of waterproof butyl rubber compound; and inner layer from soft type material for comfort. Some argue that trilaminate drysuits are more versatile in comparison to neoprene women's drysuit and the level of exposure protection is down to the type and thickness of undersuit one uses with it.

Neoprene women's drysuits - made from standard, compressed or crash neoprene this type of drysuit is more buoyant than trilaminate but at the same time offer more thermal insulation thanks to millions of air-cells enclosed in neoprene. Generally, you require lighter undergarments than for a trilaminate drysuit. As it is made out of flexible neoprene some may argue this type of drysuit is more comfortable to wear.

Mikes Dive Store is proud to present the best selection of ladies trilaminate and neoprene drysuits from best drysuit manufacturers like AzdryWaterproofFourth ElementMares XR, and Scubapro. We also stock a comprehensive collection of ladies undersuits to match your favourite drysuit.
