What is this?
Plankton Points are our way of showing our appreciation for shopping with us. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn discounts off future purchases, so the more you collect the more you save.
Who can join?
Anyone that signs up for an account is automatically enrolled. If you make a purchase without registering for an account either before or during the checkout process we are unable to retrospectively apply your points.
How do I earn points?
You can earn points for all sorts of activities, including referring friends, following us on social platforms and making purchases. To see all the ways you can earn points click the *Earn Points* tab above if you are logged in or in your account. We will also invite you to review the products you purchased for which you can earn points in return but please note that only reviews submitted by replying to the review email are eligible for points.
How do I view my point balance?
Your point balance is available at the top of this page if you are logged in, in your account and also displayed on the first page during checkout.
How do I redeem my points?
There are two ways to redeem your points. Either select the tab called *Redeem Points* above if you are logged in or within the Plankton Points area of your account where, if you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward. Alternatively, you can use the *Redeem Points* slider that is found on the first page of the checkout process. Please there is a limit of 1500 points per transaction/order.
Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?
No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can!
Do my points expire?
Yes. If you don't earn or spend any points in 12 months they'll expire.
What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' statuses mean?
**Approved:** These points can be redeemed on rewards immediately
**Pending:** These points need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to purchases and referrals. Your points will remain in a pending state for 30 days after you mnade the purchase - this is to avoid abuse by people returning items and redeeming their points and is in line with our refund policy timeframe.
**Cancelled:** Either you or someone you have referred has cancelled an order.
What happens if a friend I refer cancels or returns their order?
Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.
Why did my account balance go down?
You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase.
I completed an activity but didn't earn points!
There is a 30 day delay on you being able to use your points due to our refund policy so you will only gain and be able to use your points 30 days after your purchase. They will still show in your account but they will be pending until this 30 day period has passed.
Can I use my points during checkout?
Yes. A redemption slider is provided on the first page during checkout that allows you to precisely control how many points you redeem. Please there is a limit of 1500 points per transaction/order.
How do I leave the program?
If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be un-enrolled. We'll un-enroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued.
What happens if I leave and decide to join again?
Just contact us and we'll re-enroll you. However, your point total will begin from zero.
