3 Must-Have Items For Ocean Adventurers and Beach Explorers

When packing for your ocean adventures and beach trips, you’ll think of the obvious items, such as sunscreen, beachwear and snacks. However, there might be some things that haven’t even crossed your mind but are highly essential for all your beach trips. Let’s discover some of the hidden treasures that will change your beach trips for life.

Beach Shoes

Do you ever get that awful feeling of treading over hard rocks and uneven ground at the beach and thinking to yourself - I wish I brought something for my feet!

Reef shoes are the perfect option for keeping your feet protected at the beach, while you’re swimming and during that annoying walk from the beach to the ocean. They’re also an added extra grip for protection when you’re walking on slippery surfaces.

Not only do they keep your feet protected while walking, but they’re a great method of keeping your feet warmer for longer while you’re in the ocean.

Swim Buoy

Swim buoys are an important item that you should consider investing in for your beach swims. Taking a swim buoy is vital for many reasons, most importantly so others, especially boats, know your location. Taking a buoy could save your life if you get into trouble, this is because others can spot your location easier.

Some buoys can even be used as a dry bag, so you can take your phone, keys, shoes and other personal belongings so you don’t leave your valuables on the beach. I always use my buoy and dry bag on all my open water swims so it gives me peace of mind and I don't have to be checking my belongings every few minutes.

Check out our range of high-quality Swim Buoys and Floats on our store.

Dry Bags

Nothing is more upsetting than drenching your valuable belongings with salt water. Or stressing about leaving your valuables on the beach and worrying about whether pick-pockets will be sifting through your items when you’re in the ocean.

So what if I told you that you can keep your items with you, safe and away from water damage while you’re near or even in the water? Dry bags and waterproof products are a real life-saver when you’re visiting the water. Here are a few recommendations of various types of dry bags to keep your valuables safe while on your beach trips and ocean adventures.
