The Carbon 42 Regulator from Mares is finally here and Yes - we are impressed - no other regulator even comes close in terms of weight. The Mares Carbon has a second stage made from 100% carbon which makes it 65% lighter than a metal second stage but still with maximum thermal conductivity. This makes the Carbon 42 ideal for diving in particularly cold waters.

  'ALL IN ALL A VERY PLEASANT REGULATOR.'
Strengths: It is as light as they say which is very good for traveling.
Weaknesses:
Overall: Had no issues with it whatsoever, took it to 43m and could not find any difference in the performance. Very Happy with the product.
