halcyon-phaser-light
Halcyon Phaser Light

The Halcyon Phaser is a compact primary dive light that pairs a focused, high-intensity beam with rugged construction built for demanding dives. It delivers 50,000 lux at 1 metre and 6,000 lux at 3 metres, giving you clear communication and excellent illumination even in the most demanding underwater environments, and the high and low power settings let you match the output to the dive. A rotating ring switch with distinct clicks makes selecting high, low and off simple, a rear-facing colour-coded indicator shows your remaining charge, and USB-C makes recharging easy. The rechargeable 29 Wh battery also works as a power bank, so you can reverse-charge compatible USB-C devices and dive accessories when a conventional power source isn't available.

Features:

Focused beam delivering 50,000 lux at 1 m and 6,000 lux at 3 m

High and low power settings to suit the dive

Compact, expedition-ready design that's easy to stow, handle and pass between dive buddies

Rotating ring switch with distinct clicks for High, Low and Off, intuitive in all environments

Rechargeable 29 Wh Li-ion battery with USB-C charging

Reverse charging: use the battery as a power bank for compatible USB-C devices and dive equipment

Rear-facing, colour-coded battery status indicator

Tested to 150 m (490 ft)

Dedicated mechanical travel lock to prevent accidental activation during transport

Technical Specifications:

Type: Primary dive light

Light output: 50,000 lux at 1 m, 6,000 lux at 3 m

Power draw: Approx. 5 W (Low), approx. 14 W (High)

Calculated runtime: Approx. 6 hours (Low), 2+ hours (High)

Battery: 2.6 Ah, 29 Wh rechargeable Li-ion

Charging: USB-C, using a compatible charger and cable

Depth rating: 150 m (490 ft)

Water operating temperature: 4 °C to 40 °C (39 °F to 104 °F)

Weight: 0.82 kg (1.80 lb)

Dimensions: 25.4 x 6.2 x 13 cm (10 x 2.4 x 5.1 in)

Check out the video below and Download the Phaser™ PDF Manual

Lux vs Lumens:

Lumens tell you how much light a torch produces in total, while lux tells you how much of that light actually lands on what you're looking at from a set distance. That makes lux a more useful guide to how a dive light performs underwater, whether you're lighting up a reef or signalling your buddy. Light spreads out as it travels, so the same torch always reads a higher lux figure up close than it does further away. That's why Halcyon quotes the Phaser's output at set distances: 50,000 lux at 1 m and 6,000 lux at 3 m.

Frequently Asked Questions:

<details>

How long does the battery last?

Halcyon's calculated runtime is approximately 6 hours on low and 2+ hours on high.
