Travel BCDs are just regular BCDs but were specifically slimmed down to save precious weight in your hold luggage. Travel BCDs are made of lighter materials, and usually, metal D-rings were replaced by lighter polymer compounds. Every travel BCD is made in such a way that it folds into a nice and neat package taking also less space so you can pack more in your hold suitcase.
