The Sea Marshall PLB8 stops you being scared of surfacing and the boats not there. The Sea Marshall PLB8 is a small transmitter the size of a small digital camera that can be put in your BCD pocket.

When the Sea Marshall PLB8 personal locator beacon is engaged it transmits an emergency frequency allowing rescuers to home in on your position. The Pl8 has a range of around 35 miles for a fixed wing aircraft flying at around 5000ft and increases with altitude.

You hope you never have to use it but if you do, you'll be happy to get the Sea Marshall PLB8 out of your BCD pocket.
