The Tusa Selene BCD is a jacket that is particularly sensitive to the needs of female divers. The comfortable fit is supported by a number of features.

* High chest strap

A high chest strap minimizes pressure on the chest area, if you don't need it just remove it!

* Shoulder strap width adjustment

This feature allows the position of the shoulder belt behind the neck to be adjusted, even ladies with narrow shoulders can ensure that the jacket will fit well and the load easier to bear.

* Plush padded back pack

Thick solid cushions are used for the back pads, achieving a comfortable fit.

* High cut design

The side of the bladder has a high design to ensure smooth hip movement for a more comfortable fit.

* Advanced weight loading system (A.W.L.S.) (for female divers)

Now it's easy to load your weight pocket even after you put on your jacket. in the new design the pocket is installed at an angle of 20 degrees which makes effortless load and release for female divers. Setting weight has become even easier than in conventional products and also the weight cartridge is easy to release in an emergency but the safety lock makes that it is not realised accidently.

  'YES, IT'S TRUE ... WOMEN AND MEN ARE DIFFERENT SHAPES!'
Strengths: This BC was designed with the female body in mind - because we are different to men after all. It suits a womans figure: shorter body length shoulder straps are padded and closer together than standard BCDs, so they don't just slip off my shoulders The pockets are huge!! If I wanted to take the kitchen sink, I could. When fully inflated there was no pressure on my breasts, because the bladder is round the back.
Weaknesses: The integrated weight pockets were tight and fiddely. As well as the velcro they also had plastic clips which was just an extra effort that I did not need. Dumping air by tugging the hose. I never really got to grips with this. It is difficult to get the angle of attack correct and I was always worried that I would rip the hose off the jacket.
Overall: The BC fits really really well if you are a small slender lady with large breats. If the fiddely weight pockets are too much just use the pockets on the back, this will give you better trim in the water and takes the weight off your waist, taking pressure off your back
