  'A NICE LITTLE STARTER JACKET THAT DOESN'T BREAK THE BANK!'
Strengths: The first thing about this jacket that stood out in the shop was the tank band. The quick release style buckle that was surprisingly easy to set set up is a definite bonus. The material feels nice and strong and it has metal D-rings. Operation of the inflator is nice and the addition of a whistle is a good little extra. The straps and buckles are all well placed, padded and easy to operate, it is nice that they are all pinch clips, making it easy for buddy checks!
Weaknesses: The integral weight system, whilst a great addition, is not overly quick to dump. It requires pinching a clip and then tugging the pockets out, it would be much nice if this was all integrated like on my girlfriend's Tusa Selene.
Overall: I think this makes a great starter BC with lots of little nice touches and a great design. I'm not sure on the pockets yet as I haven't had call to fill them with much at the moment, nor have I had chance to compare them to any others. The little pocket on the cummerbund is a bit odd, not sure what it's really for! Despite the problems with the weight system I'd definitely buy this again if I was looking!
