The Aqualung Mistral at first offers a nostalgic appeal, incorporates all the developments and refinements of a modern regulator and allows today’s diving in complete safety.

With its multiple MP and HP ports the diver can connect the full range of peripheral elements: octopus, submersible pressure gauge, BC and dry suit inflators. The Mistral first stage can be supplied with either a 232 bar yoke fitting, a DIN 300 bar fitting or with Nitrox/O2 M26x2 to allow the full range of configuration.

The Aqualung Mistral, based on a well-known tried and tested design, will be easy to maintain in complete safety. The Mistral first stage is based on the highly regarded Titan.

  'I HAVEN'T ENJOYED A POOL DIVE SO MUCH IN YEARS....'
Strengths: Where have all the bubbles gone? A clear view at last, and much quieter than my usual single-hose regulator.
Weaknesses: It took a few minutes to get used to the effect of position on the breathing characteristics of the Mistral, but it was better than I remember the original Mistral that I was lent in 1981. I noticed the tug of the hoses.
Overall: I can't wait to try this on some fish! I've read that hose weights make the mouthpiece more comfortable with extended use. Several friends thought that it looked much more exciting than a modern single-hose regulator.
