Seems like everyone is using superstretch neoprene these days for dive wetsuits. So the bar has been raised and now the new thing is 'fluid seam weld' - this is where the wetsuit seem has been covered by a type of rubbery glue to stop water ingress through the stitching of the panels. Initially it was a pretty untidy feature but both Oceanic and O'neill seem to have it cracked.

The Pioneer 3/2mm Shorty (short arms and legs)is a tough, great value all purpose shorty suit

All seams sewn in attractive flatlock construction
All panels made in a strong heavy duty stretch nylon offering an optimum combination of comfort and wear resistance
Fully bound leg and arm openings for strength
Fully bound zipper with NEW "water block" double seal zipper flap with wear resistant slider protection
Front zip with fully opening leg for easy entry and exiting of the suit
Contoured crotch and underarm gussets
Soft comfortable side opening collar with smoothskin internal seal and fitted with new easy grip closing strap for quick and secure attachment
High grip shoulder prints
