With every second dive equipment manufacturer bringing out a new range of dive torches we were a bit tired of hearing the 'our's is brightest and best' line. But with the Hollis it does look like they have managed to bring out a mini powerhouse of a light.

Solid little torch Name: Anonymous

What a great little torch. very easy to use with a simple twist on/off. Takes normal AA batteries so you are not limited by battery availability. It is quite a heavy little torch (so if travelling put it in your hand luggage to save on weight allowance) but it will survive rough handling and will not let you down. The LED light is very powerful. I have used this light as my main torch not just as a back up and it has been very reliable. My only gripe would be that it doesn't come with a clip only a loop strap which cannot be tightened. So if you want to secure it to your BCD or even your wrist you need to buy another strap. Otherwise a really solid little torch.
