With lightweight being the be all and end of all of scuba equipment design over the last few years - Mares have the F-Light BCD to throw into the ring - and at just over 2 kilos it is certainly a contender.

The F-Light is a conventional-style BC, with those all important trim-weight pockets for use with an aluminium tank, but there are no integrated weights as such, so you will need a weightbelt.The trim-weight pockets are attached to an additional stabilising band that sits high up around the tank.2.2kg
